David McLean Shoup
David McLean Shoup is Nanae’s current ALT, effective August, 2013. He graduated from Tulane University in 2013 with a major in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy. David was the Concord Carlisle High School Class of 2009 president from 2007-2009.
Ben Haydock (2011-2013)
Ben served as Nanae‘s first direct-hire ALT from Concord from August 3rd, 2011 until August 3rd, 2013. Previously, ALTs in Nanae had been contracted through the JET Program. As a direct-hire ALT from Concord, Ben coordinated exchanges between schools in Nanae and Concord and gave presentations on Concord’s unique heritage, in addition to the ALT’s regular English teaching duties.
